The Development of Acoustic Science after the Restoration of Independence in Lithuania Lithuania Acoustical Society

This paper provides information about the development of the acoustic sciences in Lithuania after the restoration of its independence. We give a brief account of the work achieved in the field of acoustics and a list of the scientific publications of the author. We acknowledge the influence exerced by acousticians of Western Europe and Japan conducive to the progress of the acoustic science in Lithuania and the moral and financial help of the scientists of those countries facilitating the participation of acousticians from Lithuania in international conferences and seminars.
